Serving It Up (a no cost tennis camp)
After School Tennis Camp for Middle School Players
May 19 - 22, 2025 from 2:45 to 4:45
Hastings Middle School Tennis Courts
If you are in middle school, this camp is for you. The camp will be led by middle school tennis coaches and high school tennis players. Players will participate in drills that will develop ground stroke, volley, overhead and serving skills. There will also be both singles and doubles match play. On Thursday, May 22nd, the camp will end with a pizza party!
Summer Kick-off
Sunday, June 1, 2025 from 6:30 to 8:00
Hastings High School Courts
Kick off your summer with this tennis event. There will be a fun night filled with tennis drills and games. It will also give players/parents the opportunity to learn more about summer tennis options. Open to all Hastings MS & HS players and their friends.

This is an open event for all junior players in grades 7-12. Players will be matched with multiple partners.

Lessons for Beginners
To be Held at Hastings High School Courts
Cost is $40 per session, 6 Player Limit
Three 60-minute lessons designed for players with little or no tennis experience. Participants will learn the basics of each tennis stroke. Two sessions are offered:
Grades 5 & 6
Session I: Wednesdays: June 11, 18, 25 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
Session II: Wednesdays: July 9, 16, 23 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
Grades 7 & 8
Session I: Wednesdays: June 11, 18, 25 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Session II: Wednesdays: July 9, 16, 23 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Grades 9-12
Session I: Wednesdays: June 11, 18, 25 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM

Drills and Match Play (For Students Going into Grades 5 to 12)
Hastings High School Courts
High performance drills and match play led by RSPA Pros and high school coaches. Drills will focus on creating technical proficiency and improving players’ ability to construct points. Drills will also focus on all tennis stokes as well as foot work.

HIT (High Intensity Tennis)
Hastings High School Courts
Cost is $90 per session
HIT focuses on high intensity tennis through fitness, drills and high level of instruction. There sessions are for players looking to take their game to the next level. Players registering for HIT must also be registered for Drills and Match Play or Junior Team Tennis.
Session I: Tuesdays, June 10, 17, and 24 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM
Session II: Mondays, July 7, 14, and 21 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM
Junior Team Tennis
Junior Team Tennis (JTT) is a USTA sanctioned program for players desiring to play weekly matches against teams from neighboring communities. USTA Junior Team Tennis brings together boys and girls to play singles, doubles and mixed doubles against other coed teams. Beyond being fun and a great form of exercise, Junior Team Tennis is a competitive, level-based environment that promotes individual growth, social growth and life skills.
