What is Junior Team Tennis (JTT)
JTT is a USTA sanctioned program for players desiring match play experience. Everyone on a JTT team gets to play in a match. Players are divided by skill level and age and placed on co-ed teams of 8-10 players. JTT is a combination of practice and match play with an emphasis on skill development, teamwork and friendly competition. The local season consists of matches against other area teams. The JTT season culminates with Sectional Championships. Hastings will have teams at the 14U and 18U levels. The cost for JTT is $100. All JTT activity is held at the Hastings High School Courts. *Players will be placed on a team based on input from middle and high school coaches, tennis match experience and challenge matches during the Team Placement Matches.
JTT Players must have a USTA Membership. that does not expire during the 2025 JTT season. The USTA is offering free memberships to all junior players in 2025!. You will need to provide your membership number when registering for JTT. To obtain your USTA junior membership, click on the link below.
