Drills and Match Play (Grades 8 to 12)
Hastings High School Courts

High performance drills and match play led by USPTA/PTR Pros and high school coaches.  When player’s sign-up, they are signing-up for both the drills and match play component.  This allows participants to put into practice the skills developed in drills during a match.  Drills will focus on creating technical proficiency and improving players’ ability to construct points. Drills will also focus on all tennis stokes as well as footwork.  To ensure that all participants receive the best instruction possible, the instructors will divide the players into either two to three groups depending on sign-ups (Tier I: advanced players; Tier II: intermediate players; and Tier III: beginner and/or developing players).  All players will attend drills/match play on Monday and Tier I and Tier II will have drills/match play on Wednesday and Tier III will have drills/match play on Thursday.
